And the best part? You have the control! Whether you choose the exceptionally wide joint or a traditional joint width of 10 mm, these stones always exude that Mediterranean flair. Smart Ordering: Calculating Joint Width and Boxes

In our ordering menu, we follow this simple rule for this type of stone: 1 box = 1 m² with a generous joint of 4 cm. The listed price for these stones is based on this assumption.

But imagine you prefer a traditional, narrow joint width of 10 mm. In that case, with the content of 1 box, you can only cover approximately 0.7 m². Here's a handy calculation method:

Calculate your required number of m²: Divide the total number of m² you want to cover by 0.7. This will give you the number of boxes you need (with 10 mm joint width).
Order the correct number of boxes: Round up the number of boxes to ensure you have enough stones for your project (ordering advice: always order 10% extra).
Webshop options: In our webshop, you can specify both the number of m² and the number of boxes. This way, you have full control over your order.

Joint Mortar:

You use more joint mortar with a wider joint:

Normal consumption with a 10 mm joint width is 1 bag of 25 kg for 4 m² with a stone thickness of 2 cm.

PS: Consumption depends on the thickness of the stone and the joint method. A thicker stone means more joint mortar will be used! Full joints or deep joints also determine consumption.

For the 'Terra Méditerranée' type (3 cm thick) we recommend 25 kg of joint mortar for 2.5 m² with a 40 mm joint width (with full joint).
